Changing secondary
Would any of you guys mind telling me what's the name of the quest that allows one to change his/her secondary profession and where it's located?

For a new user, Carnivore, this site can be a bit daunting.
Wyndrider, you might try this link and then search further in that same forum (Tyrean Explorer's League): http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ofession+quest I think it's....Hero's Challenge and it's given to you by Vanyi at Droknar's Forge. She'll send you out into the desert to find all the ghosts for each profession. Each ghost will give you a quest (worth 1000 XP each). On completion you will be given the option of changing your profession. Then you'll have to go back and do the secondary profession quests from Ascalon on. |

It comes back - you never lose the skills themselves (or in the case of charm animal, the pet linked to it), just the access to them. The moment you switch back to secondary Ranger the pet returns.

Besides....you only have to do the quest....you don't have to accept the change to another secondary. That is optional. Vanyi is happy as long as you do the quest and report back to the quest giver (after you get the Hero's Challenge).

for a level 20 W/E should i change my secondary to monk, since i see bunch of w/monk out there?
seem to me that a warrior/monk build is stable and does good damages and they can heal themselves. On the other hand, W/E, heavy damages but no healing spell unless you use the healing signet. |
